We have known him as our speedy jet regardless of his stature, he was the Usain Bolt of our time, a great athlete for that matter. Many cherish the times he made us laugh out on simple jokes. He was full of laughter himself. He was fearless, and some of us hid behind him to confront issues. A self-willed gentleman who confronted life at the earliest stage and becoming an example to all of us in many forms. We had parted ways for more than 20 years, but our friendship with him was always intact. He was a great counsellor who advised amidst jokes to lighten the heavy hearted. Robert has left a gap that will be difficult to fill in our fraternity as he was religiously involved in planning our mega get together after a long period of not seeing each other. We have lost a dear one. Many of us are still in awe of his demise and cannot comprehend the events unfolding before us. To our maker he returns and for that we who believe in the resurrection have the hope of meeting him again. Robert, we are missing you greatly. Robert, Demirifa due. Da yie. We love.
